DESCRIPTION:

 

This is an extraordinary 4 day safari to tsavo east and lualenyi dedicated for wildlife lovers. Explore tsavo east national park on your first day looking for all your favorite animals and the following day we drive to lualenyi private reserve for both day and night game drives.

4 DAYS TSAVO EAST AND LUALENYI SAFARI ITINERARY:

DAY 1:

 

We start the 4 days safari to tsavo east and lualenyi with an early pick up from your hotel at about 06:00hrs in the morning. Driving along we can admire the change in scenery from coastal to semi-arid the closer we approach Tsavo East National Park.

 

Arriving at the Tsavo East National Park gate, we begin the safari game drive looking for animals on entry as we slowly and surely drive towards the direction of your accommodation looking for any resident wildlife that call Tsavo East home.

 

Tsavo is one of the world's largest wildlife parks and is most noted for its elephant herds, lions and a variety of other wild animals including ostrich, jackals, giraffe, buffalo and other plains game. On arrival at Lion Hill Safari Lodge (or similar), you will be assisted with check in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation. 

 

In the afternoon at about 16h00, continue with another game drive in search of more animals and birds, concentrating on maximizing your opportunities of any wildlife we may spot. We then return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2:

​

At 06h30 enjoy a quick cup of tea or coffee and depart for an early morning Game Drive in search of the big cats returning from their nocturnal hunts. Return Back to the lodge for a full breakfast. After breakfast and check out we begin our journey to Lualenyi.

 

Arriving at Lualenyi Private Reserve, we drive towards the direction of the Camp briefly looking for any resident wildlife that traversed from Tsavo West into the conservancy.

 

Set on its own private wildlife reserve Lualenyi camp is bordering tsavo west and wildlife roam freely between the two reserves. On game drives we search for lions, elephants, giraffe, buffalo and other unique animals. On arrival at the camp you will be assisted with check in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation. 

 

In the afternoon at about 16:30 hrs, begin a long game drive in search of resident animals and birds, concentrating on maximizing your photo opportunities of any wildlife we may spot. This afternoon game drive will extend into a night game drive as we keep looking for exotic wildlife that come out only in the dark. We then return to Lualenyi camp around 20:00hrs for dinner and a drinks around the camp fireplace.

DAY 3:

​

At 06h00 enjoy an early breakfast and depart for our morning game drive searching for wildlife and birds that prefer the early hours of the day. We then return to the camp for relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon at about 16:30 hrs, we depart for another game drive which will extend into your second night safari as we keep looking for exotic wildlife that are active mostly at night. We then return to Lualenyi camp around 20:00hrs for dinner and a drinks around the camp fireplace.

DAY 4:

 

The following morning, enjoy an early breakfast at about 06:00hrs and check out of the tents at Lualenyi Camp. We then begin a long morning game drive in search of animals and big cats that may have come out into the open during the night. Enjoy a coffee break while on safari followed by a specially prepared bush brunch at around 11:00 under a tree as we finish the game drive.

We then exit the conservancy and begin the return journey via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to drop you at your hotel and conclude the 4 days tsavo east and lualenyi camp safari.

OUR ADVICE:

Night game drives are an incredible experience and the temperatures can get quite cold at night, we recommend carrying a warm jacket or sweater.
